Mary Go Wild Basement Raves

Unfortunately nowadays the whole world knows about this basement. So the 'you have to be early', is a bit more stringent than it was when Mary first hosted this. Still, a good daytime techno rave. What's not to like. Thursday has/had Drumcode selling limited edition t-shirts.

Kompakt Pop Up Store

Yes I admit this is another biggy. The Kompakt label is more than well known in town. They've hosted many warehouse editions before. Instead of dancin' with thousands of people and spending a lot of cash, you can try your luck to dance with a few buds and a beer in their pop up store. Imagine walking around the Red Light District around 2pm. It's a great idea to just try to get a wristband. With these wristbands, you get access to the dj showcases, daily at 6pm.

Thuishaven

As you can see this is quite the afternoon event. Although there is also a part that starts at 23:00, sold out way in advance. I'm not very fond of this location in particular, but the line up today is obviously spectacular.

Friday 20 October - Night

Het Weekend

The School, never the place to follow many of the unwritten ADE rules, changes it up completely this year. One big weekender. 62 hours (or more, who knows) of madness coming your way! That's actually not true. It's not madness at all. There will be beautiful concerts, surprising b2b's (looking at you here, Avalon & Aurora) and with all floors active like a carrousel you can just hang in The Muzieklokaal by day, the basement at night and so on. Once you're out though...there are no stamps.

It's a mystery to me. The fact that you can still buy tickets, even weekender ones for this party (running two consecutive nights). So let me put some emphasis on the fact that this is one of the easiest recommendations I'll do for the week. Go see Elena. (By the way, she will play with Nina Kraviz at Red Light Radio from 7-10pm).

Thursday you will find out where this party will be. DJs Ron van de Kerkhof, Philipp Otterbach, Woody, Bredt, Sidney and DJ Kevin. Lights by the amazing Nikki Hock.

NOBU, So, Satoshi Otsuki visiting Amsterdam. Very small space in the Melkweg has a free party where the Tokyo Dance Music Event will be held.
